Host Code of Conduct

This Code of Conduct outlines the standards of professional and ethical behaviour expected from all event hosts working with DateWildly. Compliance with this Code is a condition of your engagement as a host.

At DateWildly we ask that all hosts abide by our values when hosting an event featured on the platform:

Our Values

  1. Inclusive – we celebrate diversity and create events where everyone feels welcome. Our events must foster a sense of belonging for all attendees.
    NB: whilst in beta we are only able to cater for heterosexual events due to the small scale but aim to expand to be fully inclusive post-beta phase.
  2. Fun – dating should be enjoyable, not stressful. We prioritise positive, engaging experiences that encourage laughter, conversation, and genuine human connection. Hosts should create a relaxed and upbeat atmosphere.
  3. Supportive – we're here to build people up. Our community values kindness, encouragement, and empathy. Hosts are expected to support guests—whether it's a nervous first-timer or someone dealing with a difficult moment.
  4. Safe – psychological and physical safety is non-negotiable. Our events must be free of harassment, pressure, or intimidation. Hosts are responsible for handling incidents appropriately and upholding clear boundaries.
  5. Authentic – we value real people, real conversations, and genuine interaction. Hosts should model and encourage honest, open-minded, and respectful engagement—free from judgment or game-playing.
  6. Professional – while we keep things fun, we also take our responsibilities seriously. Hosts represent the brand and must be reliable, well-prepared, communicative, and presentable—offering a high-quality experience every time.

1. Professionalism and Representation

  • Hosts must conduct themselves professionally at all times and represent DateWildly with integrity.
  • Hosts must not misrepresent DateWildly's values, services, or event offerings.
  • Hosts must adhere to agreed branding and communication guidelines for all event promotions.

2. Inclusivity and Respect

  • All events must be welcoming and inclusive regardless of age, race, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or background (outside of specified demographics).
  • Hosts must not tolerate or engage in discriminatory, harassing, or disrespectful behaviour. Any inappropriate behaviour by attendees should be flagged to DateWildly so that the appropriate action can be taken.
  • Attendees must be treated with respect, and any disputes should be de-escalated calmly and diplomatically.

3. Safety and Conduct at Events

  • Hosts must take reasonable steps to ensure the safety and comfort of all participants.
  • Any incidents involving inappropriate behaviour, harassment, or threats must be reported to DateWildly within 24 hours.
  • Hosts must not consume excessive alcohol or engage in romantic or inappropriate behaviour with attendees during the event.

4. Confidentiality and Data Protection

  • Hosts must treat all attendee information as confidential and comply fully with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
  • Attendee data provided by DateWildly may only be used for operational purposes and must not be retained or reused beyond the event unless consent is explicitly granted.

5. Communication and Reliability

  • Hosts must communicate promptly with DateWildly regarding event planning, changes, cancellations, or issues, as stated in the Contract.
  • Repeated failure to respond, missed deadlines, or no-shows may result in removal from the host network.
  • Hosts must provide at least 48 hours' notice if they are unable to host an assigned event.

6. Event Quality and Compliance

  • Hosts must deliver events that meet DateWildly's agreed standards of structure, timing, and engagement.
  • Hosts must ensure venues used are appropriate, legally compliant, and accessible.
  • Any material changes to an event (format, timing, location) must be communicated to DateWildly in advance.

7. Conflict of Interest and Integrity

  • Hosts must disclose any potential conflicts of interest (e.g. organising competing events independently).
  • Hosts must not divert attendees to personal businesses or unauthorised platforms during or after events.
  • Accepting gifts or payments from attendees outside of DateWildly ticketing is not permitted.

8. Termination and Enforcement

  • Breaches of this Code of Conduct may result in a warning, suspension, or immediate termination of the hosting agreement.
  • DateWildly reserves the right to withhold payments in the event of serious misconduct or breach of terms.
